Howdy, friends! MARK YOUR CALENDARS for October 1-3, 2020!
We are pleased to announce an event that is incredibly close to our hearts: the annual HorseFest! If you haven’t been, it’s an absolute hoot for the whole neighborhood…and then some. This year, instead of being held in the pastures, the event will take place in the form of an ONLINE AUCTION! While we can’t invite you to come out to ride the horses, get your face painted, visit our vendors, and enjoy a day of family fun, we can still put on an auction to benefit Little Creek Farm Conservancy efforts to support the Farm.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
As you probably know, it’s tough out there, and that’s why community organizations and non-profits and like ours need your help now more than ever. Want to help out? Thought so. Here’s what you can do.
- Tell your friends, family, coworkers, and well, everyone about the auction.
- Mark your calendar and check our Facebook page and your email (and let’s be honest…this blog!) to get the auction link a few days before Oct. 1, and then log on to bid your heart out to raise funds for Little Creek!
- Donate / collect items that we can add to our auction inventory! Anything from a fine bottle of wine, to a gift card, to a donkey for sale – anything that can help us generate much needed funds for our beloved neighborhood gem.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS HELP
Where will these funds go? Glad you asked!
100% of monies raised at this event go toward improving park features and increasing community use and access! This year, that will include:
- Creation of LCFC Visitor and Volunteer Welcome Center to greet guests and provide volunteers a central area
- Safety and Security features addressing fire and police services access to the barn location
- ADA access to the grass arena and annex
- Safety and Directional Signage
We can’t wait to get you involved – albeit virtually – to support the ongoing mission of the Little Creek Farm Conservancy and its programs.
