Angel was born wild and was rounded up as a yearling in the Nevada Wild Horse Range (NWHR) in 1995, and adopted out in 1996. In 2014, she was found wandering loose in Paulding County, GA.and no one claimed her. Mustang Rescue Network took her in, and she has happily been adopted. Angel participates in the Stride Ahead Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) program. In EAP, horses are used a therapeutic tool to address a wide range of mental health and basic human development issues.
