Brubeck is a playful horse who started out his young adulthood as a barrel racer. Barrel racing is a rodeo event in which a horse and rider attempt to complete a clover-leaf pattern around preset barrel in the fastest time. It requires a horse with the right temperament, and one whose back is strong and who is flexible and athletic. His current owner acquired Brubeck when he was six years old and he has shown himself to be an especially good trail horse as well as a volunteer horse in the Stride Ahead therapeutic riding program. He is a reliable and caretaking horse who will do his best to provide a safe, steady ride.
