Scout joined the Stride Ahead team in October 2010 and has participated in many equine-assisted therapy lessons. He is an especially friendly and sweet-natured horse. He is rather sociable with others horses and humans. He also like to play and has learned to “fetch” a Frisbee. One of his handlers, Anne, joked that she plans to take him to the next Frisbee Contest at Piedmont Park. Because of his size, Scout has a very long stride. He is an eager learner and he is developing his skills and is well on his way to becoming a top-notch therapy horse.
